Transistor Media | Julien Morissette

Transistor Média is a Gatineau-based documentary and fiction podcast creation and production studio located in Old Aylmer, whose mission is to create, produce and distribute digital audio works, with a focus on sound creation, radio art and podcasting. Transistor presents the annual Festival de la radio numérique (FRN) and Kino-radio.


 

Julien Morissette is a filmmaker, radio writer and musician from the Outaouais region, where he lives and works. Since 2016, his digital arts practice has focused on radio creation and storytelling. He has designed and produced audio series such as Daniel Bélanger: Rêve encore and L'heure de radio McGarrigle (Télé-Québec), Les amours extraordinaires and Hantées (Radio-Canada OHdio) and Synthèses (QUB radio). The artist has designed audio installations presented in various artist centers and public exhibitions, in addition to creating works for the stage.
