Since 2009, the artists and team at Audiotopie have been creating immersive works through site-specific installations, audio tours and podcasts. Using sound, they create narratives, themes and atmospheres for a given location. The projects engage the audience in a sensitive re-appropriation of the territory through the broadcasting of sound creations in public spaces and podcasts. The cooperative's expertise lies at the crossroads of digital audio creation, sound architecture and media interaction.

Presentation of the panelist
Simone D'Ambrosio
Following an innate passion for rhythm, he has participated as a drummer in several projects on the Florentine music scene, exploring different genres, from pure rock to electronic contaminations, in the constant search for a personal musical language.
A graduate in Music and New Technologies from the Florence Conservatory, he completed a master's degree in electroacoustic composition at the Université de Montréal.
His artistic approach is based on two complementary axes: the manipulation of environmental sounds and the integration of the spatial component into the compositional process.
Many of his personal projects have the spirit of a "multidisciplinary rock band", where different forms of expression merge in the common goal of engaged art.
Actively involved with Audiotopie since 2015, he deepens the orientations of his approach in this cooperative context by conceiving and realizing heterogeneous projects, from podcasts to sound routes and installations.
