Equipped with Zoom recorders and a small camcorder, we braved the storms, the mosquitoes and the cold. Our wet socks rubbing the insides of our shoes, we walked a long way, trying to capture both distinct sounds and chanterelles. We love the aesthetics of the marshes.
A project created by three colleagues, Mouiller le lit first demystifies itself through sound and visual research into marshes and the flora and fauna that thrive in this environment. During conceptualization, the work became more passive and dreamy, due to its ambient frames and numerous "drone" sounds.
